November to February is the cool, dry season — perfect for beaches and sightseeing. Avoid May–October (monsoon) for beach holidays.

Visa

Indians get a free 15-day Visa on Arrival. For longer stays, apply for a 60-day tourist visa at the Thai consulate (₹3,000).

Getting Around

Bangkok has BTS Skytrain and MRT Metro. Tuk-tuks and taxis are cheap. For islands, take domestic flights or ferries.

Temple Etiquette

Cover shoulders and knees when visiting temples. Remove shoes. Never touch a monk or point feet at Buddha images.

Money Tips

Thailand is very affordable. Budget ₹2,000–4,000/day. Always carry cash — street food and tuk-tuks are cash only.

Safety
